Well, I’ve just completed my very first batch of Ralph’s Limoncello, and I gotta say it must be the same joyous hesitancy that a vintner experiences while pouring that first taste of wine after spending potentially years tending his vines, gazing to the sky and hoping for steady rains, nurturing the grapes, stomping the grapes, bottling the wine…perhaps I’m romanticizing slightly, but I think that’s required when sipping wine or limoncello. Or maybe it’s just that certain delights slow us down to that blissful mode. I have to say with great pride, my batch is fantastico! My label is beautiful. And Ralph is honored. My work is done here. It was absolute FUN. Designing the label, finding the bottles, selecting lemons, making the video….go see my previous posts if you want the backstory. Until next time, ciao.
